Forward Fairview Park’s 2018 Annual Meeting to be held January 16th
Hey! We need you!
Is volunteering one of your New Year’s resolutions? Forward Fairview Park can use your help. As a coalition of local business owners and residents, we collaborate with the city to help revitalize our Lorain Road Corridor and draw the community together to support it. You may have heard about or attended our Christmas in July fundraiser. You might have noticed our Through the Looking Glass student art competition winners displayed throughout the community. And the Winter Wonderland storefront holiday decoration competition—won by Fairview Cycle? That was us, too.
The Forward Fairview Park Board of Directors has spent the last few months strategizing plans and projects for 2018 and they are ambitious. On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, from 7-8 pm we will be sharing our plans with the community at our Annual Meeting at O’Neill Healthcare Fairview Park, located at Lorain Road and West 208 Street. The meeting will include keynote speaker Shawn Leininger, Fairview Park’s Public Service & Development Director, speaking on the state of development in Fairview Park; Forward Fairview Park Board Chairman Matt Hrubey’s look back at 2017 achievements; and a look ahead to Forward Fairview Park’s plans for 2018.
Forward Fairview Park has three task forces: Business Development, Community Outreach, and Placemaking. At our Annual Board Meeting you’ll hear each task force’s objectives for 2018 and meet with its members. We’re pretty confident you’ll find a good match for your volunteering goals and the time you have available for involvement.
So, come on out to Forward Fairview Park’s 2018 Annual Meeting. Bring your family—we can get everyone involved! Bring your neighbors and friends—there is so much we want to accomplish! Or come alone—there will be refreshments! We’d love to see you.
