Volunteers give back for Freshen Up Fairview Park despite rain
It rained yesterday?
You couldn’t tell by the team of intrepid Forward Fairview Park volunteers who gathered at Gunselman’s Tavern at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 17, 2016, to receive their “Fresh Mob” assignments for weeding, painting, or simply lending a hand to four local commercial properties on Lorain Road:
- 21380 Lorain Road – the office building housing Troubadour Coffee Co.
- 21405 Lorain Road – the new home of Custom Fit Kids
- 21531 Lorain Road – the new home of Duck Duck Daycare
- 21750 Lorain Road – the former Stamper’s property
After fueling up on Dunkin Donuts and coffee provided by Gunselman’s owner Joe McDonough, approximately 23 volunteers of all ages spent the morning laboring, doing whatever they could to contribute to the City of Fairview Park’s efforts to beautify our stretch of Lorain Road.
Thanks to the organizations featured below that donated and contributed to Freshen Up Fairview Park. Our board and volunteers are extremely appreciative.
